Research and practical application on DC elevator systems of photovoltaics energy storage direct and flexible buildings
The implementation of Chinese"3060"dual-carbon vision is leading the transformation of green economy in thousands of industries, among which the transformation of building energy system has become one of the keys. This study focuses on the direct current(DC)technology of elevators in photovoltaic energy storage direct and flexible(PEDF)buildings, exploring its potential and practical application value in energy conservation and emission reduction and industrial quality improvement.Elevators,as the second-largest energy consumers in buildings after air conditioning systems, account for about 15%of the total building energy consumption, with an even higher proportion in high-rise buildings. Therefore, promoting the DC transformation of elevators to improve its operation energy efficiency, energy recovery efficiency and safety reliability is of great significance for building a low-carbon and efficient building energy system.Firstly, the current state of DC elevator technology research is outlined, and the requirements of China elevator regulations and standards is analyzed, providing a regulatory compliance and technical reference and suggestion framework for elevator DC transformation.Secondly, the study proposes a DC elevator design scheme, and through the example of a DC elevator built in the Zhuhai Photovoltaic Future House DC community, conducted a detailed empirical operation and application analysis. The test results show that DC elevators show good energy-saving effects, running stability and grid friendliness under different load and operating conditions. Finally, this paper summarizes the main advantages of DC elevators:the strong ability to operate stably under a wide range of supply voltages, the application of regenerative converters that brings system efficiency improvement, and the DC upgrade has no impact on the original safety circuits and control logic.Looking forward,DC elevator technology is expected to open up a new track for the green and low-carbon development and quality improvement of the elevator industry, and to be widely applied in scenarios such as villas, urban renewal,low/zero carbon building and the addition of elevators in old residential areas, providing support for the comprehensive realization of PEDF systems.
