Application of Finite Element Method in Electromagnetic Radiation Assessment Calculation of Prefabricated Substations
Prefabricated substations are generally installed in locations which are easily accessible to the public. For personnel safety,it is necessary to assess the power frequency electric field strength and power frequency magnetic flux density radiated externally by the prefabricated substation.Compared with on-site measurements, the simulation methods based on computational electromagnetics have higher assessment efficiency. The finite element method is used in this paper to perform electromagnetic environment simulation and analysis of 10 kV outdoor substation. The simulation result is compared with the measurement data at site with a good agreement, which verifies the accuracy of the simulation calculation of finite element method.
