ANALYSIS ON CO-SEISMIC RESPONSE CHARACTERISTICS OF LIAOGU 1# WELL CAUSED BY THE MADUO Ms7.4 EARTHQUAKE IN 2021
In this paper,the characteristics of co-seismic response of water flow,water level,water temperature and water chemical ion concentration in Liaogu 1 well caused by the 2021 Maduo Ms7.4 earthquake in Qing-hai province are analyzed.Combined with the structural background of Liaogu 1 well,the influencing factors of the co-seismic response are analyzed,and the mechanism of the co-seismic response is preliminarily discussed.The results show that the water flow,water level and water temperature of Liaogu 1 well rise in a co-seismic manner,and the ion concentration also fluctuates greatly after the Maduo Ms7.4 earthquake in Qinghai prov-ince,significantly higher than the background values.The abnormal change of fluid is directly related to the level of dynamic stress activity generated by seismic waves.Under the action of seismic waves,the pressure of the fluid layer increases,and the dynamic stress generated by the seismic waves changes the microscopic void structure of the formation,leading to the enhanced activity of the fluid,and the interaction of water and rock.The enhancement of hydro-rock interaction and the mixing of groundwater with different properties are the main factors for the abnormal change of fluid measurement items of Liaogu 1 well after Maduo earthquake.The fluid co-seismic response characteristics of Maduo Ms7.4 earthquake show that Liaogu 1 well is sensitive to far field earthquake and still has good seismic efficiency.
