REFLECTIONS ON THE POPULARIZATION OF SCIENCE ON EARTHQUAKE PREVENTION AND DISASTER REDUCTION UNDER THE REFORM OF STATIONS
Since the establishment of the Yunnan Earthquake Monitoring Central Station at the end of Septem-ber 2021,its functions and responsibilities have undergone significant changes.Earthquake prevention and dis-aster reduction science popularization has become one of the important functions and responsibilities of the Earthquake Monitoring Central Station.How to carry out the science popularization work of the Earthquake Monitoring Central Station has become an urgent problem to be solved.Based on the analysis of the current sit-uation and problems of science popularization in the Earthquake Monitoring Central Station,this paper summa-rizes relevant suggestions for promoting the science popularization of earthquake prevention and disaster reduc-tion in the station combined with the characteristics of local stations.
