Biomass gasification technology has been widely used, but the tar produced during the gasification process will affect the stable operation of the equipment. In order to significantly reduce the interference of tar,the charcoal from pear wood pyrolysis was used as raw material to conduct experimental research on the production of hydrogen-rich gas by steam gasification in the tube furnace reactor. The effects of reaction temperature, addition amount of K2CO3 and utilization times on gasification characteristics were investigated. The results show that the gas production of H2 gas is 2.19 L/g at 900℃,and the H2 content in syngas is more than 58%.When the addition amount of K2CO3 is 10%,the H2 production effect achieves the best, and the H2+CO content in the syngas reaches 88.5%.When K2CO3 catalyst was used for the third time,it still had good catalytic effect.
