Experimental Study on Improving the Load Regulation Capacity of Pulverized-coal-fired Industrial Boilers
In order to study the technical measures to improve the load regulation capacity of pulverized-coal-fired in-dustrial boilers, experimental research on the problems existing in the 80 MW hot water boiler of a heat source plant in Ji-nan has been conducted, such as high or low temperature in the denitrification process, and high exhaust gas temperature affecting the stable operation of the dust collector. The effects of different technical measures on improving the load regula-tion capacity of industrial boilers has been investigated, and the changes in SCR inlet flue gas temperature, exhaust gas temperature, thermal efficiency, and NOx emissions during long-term boiler operation has been analyzed. The results indi-cate that adding an economizer to increase the heat exchange area can effectively reduce the inlet smoke temperature and ex-haust gas temperature of the denitration SCR,thereby improving the thermal efficiency of the boiler.Adjusting the heat ex-change flue gas volume through flue gas bypass can effectively control the denitrification flue gas temperature.By controlling the smoke temperature within the optimal temperature range for catalyst use,the NOx emission index decreases at the same amount of denitration agent. After renovation, the boiler has significantly improved its load regulation capacity.
