不同模态控制方法对多模光源的改性作用及测量重复性影响分析

The modification effect of different mode control methods on multimode laser source and the influence of measurement repeatability analysis

设计实验并分析模式滤波器、模式控制器、扰模器对多模光源稳定度、功率损失、光场的作用,以及对多模光衰减器插入损耗测量重复性的影响,实验结果表明,模式控制器会引起光源稳定度的劣化、造成光功率较大的损失,不适合用于大动态范围的应用,且对插入损耗测量重复性的提升作用并非最优,而扰偏器能提升光源稳定度、功率损失低,同时能提升插入损耗测量重复性,揭示了不同模态控制方法对多模光参数测量所引入的被人忽视的影响.
Experiments were designed and analyzed on the effects of mode filter,mode conditioner,scrambler on the power stability,power loss and optical field of multimode laser source,as well as on the insertion loss measurement repeatability of multimode optical attenuator.The experimental results show that mode controller can cause deterioration of the stability of laser source and a large loss of optical pow-er,so it is not suitable for the application of large dynamic range.Moreover,the improvement effect on the measurement repeatability of insertion loss is not optimal.However,the mode scrambler can improve the stability of laser source with low power loss and improve the measurement repeatability of insertion loss at the same time,which reveals the neglected influence of different mode control methods on the measurement of multimode optical parameters.
