Discussion on calibration method of portable total hydrocarbon、methane and non-methane total hydrocarbon detector based on GC-FID
Volatile organic compounds are one of the main targets of environmental pollution control,su-pervision and monitoring at the current stage. It can destroy the ozone layer, enhance the greenhouse effect, and lead to haze weather. There are many types of Volatile organic compounds. At present,it is mainly monitored in the form of total hydrocarbon, methane and non-methane total hydrocarbon.During on-site monitoring, the portable total hydrocarbon, methane and non-methane total hydrocarbon detec-tors using gas chromatography-hydrogen flame ionization detector(GC-FID)are widely used, because it has the advantages of wide detection range and short analysis period. It needs to be calibrated frequently in use.According to the analysis principle, there are two main calibration methods used at present:sin-gle-point calibration method and multi-point curve calibration method. In this paper,a practical calibra-tion experiment is taken as an example to compare the effect of two different calibration methods on the measurement results.
