Usage and calibration method of atmospheric pressure metal storage tank magnetic leakage detector
The atmospheric pressure metal storage tank magnetic leakage detector is widely used in the field of non-destructive testing,mainly for defect detection of the bottom plate of ferromagnetic atmos-pheric storage tanks.Its use and detection accuracy are directly related to the production and transporta-tion safety of energy,chemical and other industries.This article combines the working principle and de-tection method of the detector,and elaborates on the key issues during the use of the detector from two aspects:personal protection and working environment.As an important measuring instrument in the field of non-destructive testing,regular calibration is required.However,there is currently no national,lo-cal,or industry calibration regulation or standard for this type of testing instrument,which leads to in-consistent calibration methods and cannot guarantee the accuracy and reliability of quantity traceabili-ty.By studying the detection methods of magnetic leakage detectors,combined with instrument principles and practical measurement work,the relevant metrological characteristics of the instruments were stud-ied,and measurement standards,calibration items,and calibration methods were provided.
