Analysis of measuring ability of parshall flume channel flowmeter
The 4# and 5# standard Parshall flumes were tested by the laboratory open channel flow rate stand-ard device to analyze the measuring ability of the open channel flowmeter.The test results show that the indica-ting error of the two Parshall flume channel flowmeters changes from negative to positive with the increase of flow rate,and the maximum indicating error is less than±3％.The conclusion is that the measuring ability of Parshall flume channel flowmeter can meet the requirements of JJG 711-1990,and it is suitable for the flow measurement of open channel.At the same time,the indicating error can be fixed point corrected according to the test results,and the measuring ability of the flowmeter can be further improved.
