Application of Rotary Furnace in Continuous Production of Powdered Vanadium Pentoxide
It summarizes the preparation process of powdered vanadium pentoxide by using ammonium metavanadate,compares the operation parameters of traditional equipment and new rotary furnace,and elaborates the optimal design and continuous production application of feeding system,furnace tube,raw material recovery and tail gas treatment system.The Flake Divanadium pentaoxide is the raw material of vanadium alloy,and the powder divanadium pentaoxide is the direct raw material of the divanadium pentaoxide,which affects the properties of vanadium alloy indirectly.The current batch mode of production is relatively backward,with low overall production efficiency and low levels of automa-tion,leading to high operating costs.The main advantages of the rotary divanadium pentaoxide equipment for continuous powder divanadium pentaoxide are:the material is fully broken and the spiral feed is smooth;The recovered material in tail gas can be used as raw material again,and the tail gas can meet the national emission standard after treatment.Continuous rotary furnace can realize the continuous preparation of va-nadium powder,which has a positive significance for vanadium and nitrogen industry.
