Design and Analysis of Drive System for LF Furnace
The LF furnace is the most important equipment in the entire steel refining process,with the functions of desulfurization,deoxygen-ation,and fine-tuning the composition of molten steel,which plays an important role in improving the quality of molten steel;It is an essential equipment for every steel enterprise to produce high-quality and special steel.The main structural types of the existing LF refining furnace are double car type,rotary table type,and electrode rotary type.The characteristic of a rotary table LF furnace is to use the rotation of the rotary table to transport molten steel from the waiting station to the smelting station for smelting;The rotary table LF furnace has the advantages of small footprint,safe and reliable use,low maintenance workload,and high efficiency.As an important component of the LF refining furnace,the rotary table plays an important role in the safe operation of the entire refining furnace;The smooth operation of the rotary table depends on the reliability of the driving device design.The design of the driving device for the rotary table will be analyzed.By calculating the basic data of the rotary table drive system and selecting the motor and reducer,a safe and reliable design scheme is proposed for reference by other designers.
