Analysis of Sediment Oxidative Corrosion Characteristics and Mechanical Properties of Waterwall Tubes in Coal-fired Boilers
Analyze the oxidation corrosion characteristics and mechanical characteristics of the sediment on the water wall of the coal-fired boil-er,reduce the failure probability of the burst of the water wall tube of the coal-fired boiler, and ensure the normal operation of the coal-fired boiler in fossil-fuel power station.Select the water-cooled wall sample tube of the No.3 coal-fired boiler in a certain power plant as the test object, use electron microscopy and metallographic testing instruments to detect the microstructure of the test object, analyze the characteris-tics of oxidation corrosion damage and oxidation corrosion mechanism of the sediment on the water-cooled wall of the coal-fired boiler, and measure the mechanical properties of the sample through a tensile testing machine. The experimental results indicate that the sediment mainly contains sulfides such as iron tetroxide, iron oxide, and ferrous sulfide; The inner wall of the sample on the fire side shows a strip-shaped dis-tribution,with a small amount of microcracks. The microstructure includes Fe and pearlite, while the inner wall of the sample on the back fire side shows a strip-shaped distribution, without cracks and decarburization. The microstructure includes Fe and pearlite; The phenomenon of microcracks on the inner wall of the sample is caused by the oxidation reaction caused by the infiltration of a large amount of carbon into the pearlite. The mechanical properties of the back fire side of the sample are good, with elongation, tensile strength, and hardness of 32.9%,469.8 MPa,and 150HB,respectively.
