Research and Application of Water-cooled Furnace Wall in Grate Incinerator For High Calorific Value Waste
This article combines engineering application data analysis and theoretical simulation calculation to compare the effects of air-cooled furnace wall and water-cooled furnace wall on the operation of incinerators, and determines the applicable boundary for the calorific value of incoming waste using water cooled-furnace wall. The research results indicate that the water-cooled furnace wall has excellent adaptability to high calorific value waste and can effectively reduce the risk of over-temperature of the bolier heating surface. On the premise of meeting the environmental indicators of furnace flue gas temperature and residence time of 850 ℃/2 s,as long as the lower heating value(LHV)of the waste is higher than 1 500 kcal/kg,the water-cooled furnace wall can be applied;when the LHV is higher than 1 800 kcal/kg,the water-cooled furnace should be applied to provide a basis for reducing the harm caused by over-temperature such as coking and prolonging the service life of waste incinerators.
