Design of a Monitoring System for Flue Gas Pollutant Emissions from Coal-fired Boilers Based on Multi-sensor Data
There are many types of pollutants in the flue gas of coal-fired boilers, including particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, etc. At the same time, the data generated from monitoring flue gas emissions of coal-fired boilers is huge and complex, which affects the accu-racy of pollutant monitoring. In order to achieve real-time monitoring of various pollutants in the flue gas of coal-fired boilers,a monitoring sys-tem for flue gas pollutant emissions of coal-fired boilers based on multi-sensor data was designed. The hardware design of the system mainly in-cludes multiple sensor modules, data collectors, and communication modules.Transfer the emission data of coal-fired boiler flue gas pollutants collected through multiple sensors in the hardware part to the software part of the system, use the Gaussian plume model to obtain the emission diffusion range of flue gas pollutants, and remove useless data during the sensor collection process based on communication distance,in order to save monitoring time.Introducing Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy(DOAS)to invert the emission concentrations of various components of flue gas pollutants, and using communication protocols to transmit the resulting data to the hardware system, achieving real-time monitoring of flue gas pollutant emissions from coal-fired boilers. The experimental results show that the monitoring system designed by the proposed method can accurately predict the diffusion range of flue gas pollutant emissions, and has high monitoring accuracy, robustness, and stability.
