There is no intelligent surge protector in SCADA signal loop of West-East Gas Pipeline transmission station.In order to grasp the real-time operation state of surge protector,the performance of domestic 55CS4 intelligent surge protec-tor has been studied.The field test and laboratory performance test of intelligent surge protector have been carried out.The application of intelligent surge protector greatly improves the security of SCADA system,and lays a foundation for infor-mation upload of equipment management system and selection of surge protector.
