Development Trend of Programmable Logic Controller Based on PC Architecture and Application in the Field of Wind Power Control
Programmable logic controller(PLCs)based on PC architecture is a PLC developed on the basis of PC plat-form and embedded operating system.PLCs are widely used in the field of wind turbine control systems,as well as wind farm monitoring systems(including SCADA systems,AGC,AVC systems,etc.).This paper provides a brief explanation of the PC architecture of PLC programmable controller,the technical architecture of wind turbine control system based on PC-Based PLC,analyzes the development status and existing problems of wind turbine control system in combination with the doubly fed wind turbine control system,and briefly analyzes the technical development trend of PC-Based PLC in the field of wind turbine control in combination with the industrial control frontier directions such as cloud,distributed,edge computing,etc.
