摘要
在双核的SoC系统中,不同核心之间的数据交换显得尤为重要,核间通信的效率的高低会直接影响到整个SoC的性能.同时双核SoC架构中,两个core资源共享,外设资源共享,如何高效地使用这些共享资源是非常重要的.提出一种基于硬件量的双核间通信方式,不同核之间的事件通信和资源状态共享都通过一个含有多个硬件量的信箱进行通信,这种操作都是在硬件中实现的,可以有效地提高SoC的效率和性能.
Abstract
In dual-core SoC system,the data exchange between different cores is particularly important,and the effi-ciency of inter-core communication will directly affect the performance of the whole SoC.At the same time,in dual-core SoC architecture,resources and peripheral resources are shared between the two cores,how to efficiently use these shared resources is very important.This paper proposes a communication mode between two cores based on hardware semaphore.The event communication and resource state sharing between different cores are all communicated through a mailbox containing multiple hardware semaphores.This operation is realized in hardware,which can effectively improve the efficiency and performance of SoC.
