Surface Defect Detection Method for Television Diffuser Plates Based on Machine Vision
The diffuser plate is a crucial component of the backlight module in LCD televisions.It is responsible for dif-fusing the point light emitted by LEDs into a uniform surface light source.The quality of the diffuser plate directly impacts the final imaging effect of the television product.The quality inspection of the diffuser plate faces challenges such as large dimensions,high precision requirements,and the need for fast detection speed.This research explores the application of machine vision methods for surface defect detection on diffuser plates for television sets.Build an optical imaging system using a line scan camera,along with compatible light sources and lenses,and combine it with a computer to create a computer vision inspection system.An automated solution for detecting defects like burrs,dirt,holes,scratches,and uneven light transmission on the surface of the diffuser plate is proposed.Experimental design and data testing are conducted,achieving an accuracy rate of over 96%.This research holds significant importance in enhancing the quality control of dif-fuser plates in the LCD television industry and improving television imaging performance.
