A Torque Distribution Model Prediction Method for Four-wheel Drive Vehicles
The 4WID-EV is a four-wheel independent drive electric vehicle that achieves more precise steering and power distribution by individually controlling the torque of each wheel.model predictive control(MPC)is a control method based on mathematical models that generates control actions by predicting the future behavior of the system. This paper proposes an optimized torque demand controller model for improving the energy consumption of electric vehicle travel based on the MPC algorithm, and MPC optimization allocation is performed under the ECE urban road driving conditions using three allocation strategies:average allocation, front axle allocation, and the proposed allocation model. The results demonstrate that compared with the average distribution and rear axle drive, the energy consumption efficiency of the MPC optimization distribution is increased by 5.5%and 10.61%,which has better energy saving performance.
