Experimental Study on Influence of Nozzle Structure on SNCR Denitration Performance
A study was conducted on the flow characteristics of five types of nozzles and their impact on selective non-catalytic reduction(SNCR)denitration performance for a 20 t/h coal-fired industrial boil-er.The relationship between nozzle flow rate and pneumatic and hydraulic pressure was established. The results show that the nozzle flow rate increases with the increase of hydraulic pressure and the decrease of pneumatic pressure. The flow rate of the fan-shaped nozzle is smaller than that of the conical nozzle and is more sensitive to pneumatic and hydraulic pressure. The middle of the furnace is located in the optimal re-action temperature zone of SNCR and the temperature distribution is relatively uniform, resulting in a high denitration efficiency; The fan-shaped nozzle with an angle of 120° has the best denitration efficiency, therefore, selecting a fan-shaped nozzle with a larger angle in practical applications can achieve better den-itration performance.
