Calculation and Design of Electric Heating Device of Furnace Nose
The impact of zinc ash inside the furnace nose on the quality of hot-dip galvanized products is introduced,and the characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of four widely used methods for removing zinc ash from furnace noses are summarized.Starting from the mechanism of zinc ash formation and the characteristics of working conditions inside the furnace nose,the importance of installing an electric heating device outside the furnace nose is elaborated.The feasibility of reducing the accumulation of zinc ash on the furnace wall by installing an electric heating device is analyzed.Based on the size and internal characteristics of the furnace nose,the power of the electric heating device is calculated in detail,the materials and forms of electric heating elements are selected for electric heating devices.Finally,the furnace nose electric heating device designed in this article was put into use on site.The on-site data showed that the design parameters could meet the requirements of use,and the product quality improved to a certain extent after a period of use.It has certain reference significance for the renovation of existing equipment and the improvement of products.In the case of limited budget,it is an economical and feasible way of renovation and improvement.
