Analysis of Differential Metabolites in Two Types of Mixed Barley Bran Based on Non-Targeted Metabolomics
The aim of this study is to analyze the differential metabolites of two mixed barley bran using non-targeted metabolomics.Using non-targeted metabolomics research methods, statistical methods such as principal component analysis(PCA)and cluster analysis were used to analyze the differences between two types of mixed barley bran. The results showed that 21 categories of 6435 metabolites were detected in the two mixed barley bran samples, and a total of 549 significantly different metabolites were screened out, accounting for 8.53% of the total metabolites.Among them,280 were upregulated and 269 were downregulated;Through the analysis of metabolic pathways enriched with differential metabolites,it was found that the differential metabolites in the two mixed barley bran mainly existed in the linoleic acid pathway, glycine, serine, and threonine metabolism pathways, ascorbic acid and arabinose metabolism pathways, glycerophospholipid metabolism pathway, and flavonoid biosynthesis pathway. This study identified the differential metabolites of two mixed barley bran, providing important references for further research on their nutritional and functional active ingredients.
