北方一次强沙尘暴过程的诊断分析和数值模拟

利用NCEP再分析资料、地面观测资料和中尺度数值模式MM5V3,对2009年4月22-24日强沙尘暴过程的近地面气象要素变化特征进行了分析和数值模拟.结果表明,沙尘暴发生前后温、压和风速均出现了剧烈变化;蒙古气旋和冷锋是这次强沙尘暴过程的主要影响系统.温度平流、涡度平流、垂直速度及位涡在气旋发展、演变过程中起重要作用.模拟的地面环流形势显示,模式对地面气旋的演变特征及地面大风模拟的较好,并指出地面大风区与沙尘暴有较好的对应关系.
Diagnostic Analysis and Numerical Simulation of Severe Sandstorm in Northern China
Using the observation data,a severe dust storm weather in northern China on 22-24 April 2009 is studied,and the relationship between the meteorological variables at surface and the intensity of dust storm on 22 April 2009 is analyzed.The results show that the variations of the temperature,pressure and the wind speed are closely related to intensity of the sandstorm.Mongolian cyclone and its cold front are the main system of the strong dust storm occurring.Temperature advection,vorticity advection,vertical velocity and potential vorticity play an important role in the cyclone development.The simulated results show that it is better to simulate the evolution of the surface characteristic of cyclone and strong wind,and there is good correlation between surface wind areas and duststorm.
