Research on Medical and Elderly Care Furniture Design Based on Sustainable Design Concepts
This paper discusses the application of sustainable design concept in the design of medical and elderly care furniture and its importance to improve the quality of life.In the context of global sustainable development,the design of medical and elderly care furniture should not only meet the needs of functionality and comfort,but also pay attention to the efficient use of resources and environmental protection.Through case studies,this paper shows how sustainable design principles can solve the problems of safety,functionality,humanization and environmental impact in medical and elderly care furniture.Research has found that incorporating sustainable design concepts can significantly improve product performance and user satisfaction,and promote efficient use of resources.Facing the needs of the aging society,medical and elderly care furniture design should use interdisciplinary knowledge and new technologies to develop innovative products that are humanized,environmentally friendly and socially responsible,so as to better serve the society and promote health and environmental sustainable development.
