The museum is not only an important platform for the display and dissemination of local culture,but also a window for the public to perceive the cultural image of the city.Its core mission is to preserve regional characteristics forever and promote the continuation of local context.However,with the advancement of globalization,the homogenization trend of local culture is becoming increasingly serious,resulting in Yixing Ceramic Museum gradually losing its characteristics in architectural and environmental design.From the perspective of"locality",this paper discusses the use of"customization"strategy in museum design,and emphasizes the necessity of site.Secondly,it puts forward three major transformation design strategies of Yixing Ceramic Museum from the perspective of local nature,in order to highlight the unique charm of Yixing local culture and enhance the image of Yixing city culture.
