Design of immersive virtual reality system based on temporal roles and spatial roles
In order to make head mounted monitor(HMM)user and non head mounted monitor users have the same or similar sense of presence and experience in immersive virtual reality(VR),it is proposed a VR system based on tempo-ral and spatial roles. Its core is to allow two types of users to obtain different types of experiences.Firstly, the system limits the core role of HMM users to spatial roles, which can directly perceive the situation on the scene. Then,Bin needs to quickly judge to react and relay the observed current situation to non HMM users to share their sense of pres-ence.Finally,the system extends the role of non HMM users through the concept of time. From the perspective of the third person camera, the system analyzes the specific factors needed to achieve the goal, and makes relevant decisions on the overall implementation method.Experiments show that the proposed system can provide satisfactory presence for HMM and non HMM users, and provide various experiences for each role.
