Wireless network coding scheme with media access control awareness in 5G environment
To optimize the network coding of single wave flow in 5G wireless network environment,a random linear net-work coding scheme with medium access control(MAC)sensing is proposed.Since the assumption of inter stream net-work coding is that the real-time decoding and feedback channel are reliable, which is not common in 5G environment, the proposed scheme uses a randomized processing method to select the packet variables uniformly and randomly from the finite field GF(2).The source node does not need to collect the feedback frames from the receiver, and alleviates the impact of packet related information by optimizing the MAC overhead. It is verified on the TelosB motes test-bed.The results show that for single hop data publishing and multi hop wireless routing, the proposed scheme uses block ACK handshake, which can efficiently collect feedback information, and can significantly reduce the packet transmission time by up to 42%.
