Cause analysis and countermeasures of reverse osmosis membrane fouling in coal chemical wastewater treatment system
In view of the problem that frequent fouling of reverse osmosis membrane in a coal chemical wastewater treatment system restricting the continuous operation of the device, the influent water quality, the composition of the membrane surface pollutants, and the accuracy of online oxidation-reduction potential(ORP)meter were analyzed. The results showed that, the synergic effect of high content of organic matters in the influ-ent water and excessive reducing agent led to organic pollution was the root cause of fouling and blocking in the membrane system.By increasing the residual chlorine of the ultrafiltration produced water to improve the bacteri-cidal effect, adjusting the dosage of reducing agent to improve the oxidability of the membrane inlet water, strengthening the frequency of online instrument cleaning and correction, optimizing the pretreatment process pa-rameters and some other treatment measures, the operation problems were effectively solved, the hidden dangers of organic pollution and pharmaceutical pollution were greatly reduced, and the membrane system realized effi-cient and stable operation.
