Effect of MBBR carrier packing ratio on water remediation efficiency and substrate degradation kinetics
In order to discuss the effect of carrier packing ratio on water restoration efficiency, taking urban black and odorous water body as the research object, the relationship between carrier packing ratio and restora-tion efficiency of organic matters, ammonia nitrogen, turbidity and transparency was investigated, and a substrate degradation kinetic model was established in MBBR system. The results showed that, the optimal packing ratio of the system was 15%,at this time, the maximum removal rates of COD,NH3-N and turbidity were 78.51%,87.80%,96.54%respectively,the transparency of the reactor was increased from 4.10 cm to 33.00 cm,which could achieve efficient and stable pollutants removal effect under carrier fluidization state. The kinetic constants of organic matters and ammonia nitrogen degradation at the optimal packing ratio of 15%were obtained.
