A project example of swine slaughter wastewater treatment
The production wastewater of a large-scale swine slaughter enterprise has characteristics of large concentration changes,high organic matters concentration,large amount of suspended solids,and so on,which is red-brown and has distinct stench.Using a combined process of air flotation-hydrolytic acidification-two stage AO-high density sedimentation to treat the said kind of wastewater,when the mass concentrations of COD,BOD5,SS,ammonia nitrogen,total phosphorus,and total nitrogen in the influent water were 1 844,767,864,54.4,4.52 and 87.6 mg/L respectively,the mass concentrations of the above pollutants in the effluent water were 46,21.7,12,3.74,1.75 and 8.74 mg/L respectively,which showed that the effluent water quality not only satisfied the in-ternal control requirement of the enterprise,but also met the requirement of grade 3 in GB 13457-1992 Dis-charge standard of water pollutants for meat packing industry,after reaching the standard,the effluent water will be treated by the sewage treatment plant in the industrial agglomeration area.The said process is stable and reli-able,and has strong impact resistance,good treatment effect,which is also convenient for automatic operation,maintenance and management.
