Objective To investigate the evaluation value of short non-coding RNA(miR-7156-3p),motor neuron and pancreatic homeobox 1(MNX1)expression in cancer tissues for the prognosis of patients with advanced breast cancer.Method For advanced breast non-specific invasive carcinoma(advanced breast cancer group,n=86)and benign nodules(benign group,n=72)confirmed by MR Examination and pathology test,the expressions of MNX1 and miR-7156-3p in breast lesion tissue homogenate were detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR.The correlation between MNX1 and miR-7156-3p was analyzed by Pearson method,and the correlation between MNX1 and miR-7156-3p and poor prognosis was analyzed by COX regression model.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was plotted,and area under the curve(AUC)was calculated to analyze the evaluation value of MNX1 and miR-7156-3p in poor prognosis of patients.Results The expression level of miR-7156-3p in patients with advanced breast cancer was significantly lower than that of patients with benign nodules(P<0.05),while the expression of MNX1 was significantly higher than that of patients with benign nodules(P<0.05);Pearson correlation analysis revealed a negative correlation between miR-7156-3p and MNX1 expression(r=-0.403,P<0.05);COX regression analysis showed that age,low tumor differentiation and diameter,Ki-67 ≥ 14%+,miR-7156-3p and MNX1 expression were related factors affecting poor prognosis of advanced breast cancer patients(P<0.05).;ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of miR-7156-3p and MNX1 were 0.749 and 0.772,respectively,while the AUC of the combination of the two indexes was 0.872,which was significantly higher than that of single index(P<0.05).Conclusion The abnormal expression of MNX1 and miR-7156-3p in the focus tissue of advanced breast cancer patients is a related factor affecting the prognosis of patients,and has a high evaluation value for the poor prognosis of patients.
