Relationship between abnormal EEG and expression characteristics of miR-130b-3p,miR-7,and FGL2 in patients with epilepsy
Objective To explore the relationship between abnormal electroencephalogram(EEG)of patients with epilepsy and the expression characteristics of miR-130b-3p,miR-7 and fibrinogen-like-protein 2(FGL2).Methods A total of 124 epilepsy patients treated in our hospital were selected as the observation group,including 36 mild cases,51 moderate cases,and 37 severe cases.All the patients suffered from abnormal degree of EEG(65 mild cases,35 moderate cases,and 24 severe cases).The differences in miR-130b-3p,miR-7 and FGL2 of different kinds of subjects were compared.Results The miR-130b-3p and FGL2 levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and miR-7 was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).The miR-130b-3p and FGL2 levels in severe cases of the observation group were significantly higher than those in mild and moderate cases(P<0.05),and miR-7 was significantly lower than mild and moderate cases(P<0.05).The miR-130b-3p and FGL2 levels in cases with generalized seizures were significantly higher than those in cases with partial seizures(P<0.05).The miR-130b-3p and FGL2 levels in cases with severe EEG abnormalities in the observation group were significantly higher than those in patients with mild and moderate EEG abnormalities(P<0.05),and miR-7 was significantly lower than cases with mild and moderate abnormalities(P<0.05).The miR-130b-3p in the observation group was positively correlated with the severity of the disease and the degree of abnormal EEG(P<0.05).FGL2 in the observation group was positively correlated with the severity of the disease and the degree of abnormal EEG(P<0.05).There was a negative correlation(P<0.05)between miR-7 in the observation group and the severity of the disease and the degree of abnormal EEG.Conclusion The miR-130b-3p and FGL2 expression is upregulated,and miR-7 is down regulated in patients with epilepsy,which is correlated with the severity of the disease and the degree of electroencephalogram abnormalities.
