Study on anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Jingulian capsules and its disassembled formulas
Objective To explore the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of Jingulian capsules and the inherent laws of anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of formula compatibility. Methods A total of 108 healthy Kunming mice were randomly divided into 9 groups:control group(CON group,0.5%Carboxymethylcellulose sodium),positive drug group(ASPL group, aspirin),whole prescription group(QF group,Jingulian Capsules),main drug group(A group,Psammosilene tunicoides),auxiliary drug group(B group,Gaultheriae Yunnanensis Herba seu Radix,Schefflerae Leucanthae Ramulus et Folium and Alangii Radix),lead drug group(C group,Sargentodoxae Caulis),main+auxiliary group(A+B group),main+lead group(A+C group),and auxiliary+lead group(B+C group).Mouse ear swelling experiment was performed to evaluate anti-inflammatory effect of Jingulian Capsule.Analgesic effect of Jingulian was evaluated by acetic acid-induced writhing body reaction experiment in mice. The inherent compatibility law among each formula in Jingulian prescription were discussed by orthogonal t-value method. Results When compared to CON group, the inhibition rates of mouse ear swelling and torsion were both increased to varying degrees in ASPL,QF,A,B,C,A+B,A+C,and B+C groups(P<0.05 or P<0.01).QF group had the highest inhibition rates for ear swelling and torsion. The orthogonal t-value table showed that QF group could significantly inhibit the degree of mouse ear swelling(P<0.01)and the number of mouse twisting movements(P<0.05)with a significant interaction effect. Conclusion Jingulian capsule has significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, and disassembled formulas show that the formulas have a compatibility enhancement effect.
