Study on the status quo of quality of life and its influencing factors in patients with frequent acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Objective To explore the quality of life and influencing factors of patients with frequent acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods A total of 252 patients diagnosed as frequent acute exacerbation of COPD were selected as study subjects.General information was collected.Charlson comorbidity index,Barthel index and COPD Assessment Test(CAT)were scored.t-tests and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the differences in CAT scores of independent variables among AECOPD patients with different characteristics.Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to identify factors affecting patient survival quality. Results CAT score of the patients with frequent AECOPD was(23.09±3.35)points,with 80.54%of them suffering from severe quality of life. There were statistically significant differences in 10 variable scores for quality of life such as educational level, smoking, disease duration and frequency of onset in the past year between the patients with frequent AECOPD and control group(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that education level,Charlson comorbidity index score, disease duration and BI score were the influencing factors of quality of life in the patients with frequent AECOPD.The model had a good fitting effect with F=9.155(P<0.001)and adjusted R2=0.382.Conclusion The survival quality of patients with frequent AECOPD is relatively low.
