A Research on the Origination of Duangong Cult of ZOU Family at Zhenxiong County in Yunnan Province from Jiangxi Province
The Duangong cult of ZOU family in Poji Town,Zhenxiong County is the earliest Duangong cult discovered in Yunnan province and has been passed down for a long time.This cult originated in Jiangxi province and was introduced to Zhenxiong County during Tianqi period(1621-1627)of the Ming Dynasty more than 400 years ago and has been passed down for 19 generations.Duangong Opera in Zhaotong County is a kind of sacrificial opera,characterized with the intertwining of sacrifice and opera.In the sacrificial activities of Duangong cult of ZOU family,vivid images of local minorities appeared.They not only played an important role in the sacrifices,but also acted as representatives in the Duangong opera,which indicates the existence and development of Duangong cult of ZOU family are inevitably marked by localization and nationalization in Zhenxiong County.Therefore,the exist-ence of Duangong Opera in Zhenxiong County is not only directly related to immigrants of Han nationality,but also closely related to the regional cultural and ecological environment.
