Study on the Physical and Mechanical Characteristics of Gold Tailings Consolidation under Different Experimental Conditions
In order to explore the physical and mechanical characteristics of the tailings consolidation body after filling into the mine pit and the change of the physical and mechanical characteristics of the tailings consolidation body under different water environment conditions, taking the tailing of a gold mine in southwest Guizhou province as the research object,we designed the static soaking and dynamic scouring experiments by means of field investigation and sampling. The physical and mechanical experiments of solidified samples of gold mine tailings were carried out by using a multifunctional rock low permeability instrument and universal testing machine. And the Origin 2018 software and mathematical statistics were adopted. The physical and mechanical characteristics of solidified gold tailings were studied systematically. The results show that the permeability decreases and the uniaxial compressive strength increases with the increase of curing age.Under the same curing age and different hydrodynamic conditions, the uniaxial compressive strength of the consolidated body all decreases. And the effect of static immersion test on the uniaxial compressive strength of the consolidated body is obviously smaller than that of dynamic erosion to be stable. The research results provide technical parameters for the design of gold mine tailings backfilling mining, and also provide important support for the safety operation of backfilling mining.
