Ore-controlling Factors and Prospecting Direction of Fluorite Belt in Northeastern Lianhuashan Anticline,Southwestern Guizhou
The fluorite deposits in the north-eastern Lianhuashan anticline of southwest Guizhou are presen-ted as vein-shaped and sac-shaped in the NE-trending structures, which belong to the epithermal deposit with steep dip controlled by favorable structures,gas-liquid cryptoexplosion breccia bodies and lithologies. The results of geological mapping and geophysical data show that the NE-trending Lianhuashan anticline and the re-lated Luoshuidong fault and secondary extensional faults are the mineralizing hydrothermal channels and ore-bearing space in this area.Among them, the NE-trending Luoshuidong fault is the first-order ore-conducting structure, and the NE-trending extensional structures(fault, joint and fracture)are both the second-order ore-conducting structure and ore-bearing structure. The deep ore-bearing hydrothermal fluids upflowed to the favor-able structural ore-bearing space along different orders of ore-conducting faults, then the breccia formed by the cracking of the dense wall rock had a larger surface area of water-rock reaction, resulting in more full minerali-zation.Subsequently,the ore-bearing hydrothermal fluids were shielded by the overlying fine clastic rocks of Longtan Formation, and the metasomatic mineralization happened in these structural fractures when the ore-forming fluids extracted calcium from limestone. The normal faults, these derived extensional structures and gas-liquid cryptoexplosion breccia bodies in the anticline are the main objects of fluorite ore exploration in the fu-ture.In-depth study of the coupling relationship of multiple ore-controlling factors in the mineralization is con-ducive to expand the exploration of deep fluorite resources.
