Study on Filling Properties of Paste Cemented of Electrolytic Manganese Residue With Removal of Ammonia
In order to reduce the negative impact of excessive ammonia nitrogen concentration during mine filling process of electrolytic manganese residue(EMR),experiments were conducted on the pretreatment of e-lectrolytic manganese residue to remove ammonia nitrogen and its cementitious paste. The removal of ammonia nitrogen with watered electrolytic manganese residue, electrolytic manganese residue and watered electrolytic manganese residue with alkaline conditioner was evaluated in experiments. The effects of treatment of electrolytic manganese residue, washed electrolytic manganese residue and washed electrolytic manganese residue with alkaline conditioner on the fluidity and compressive strength of the paste were further investiga-ted.The results showed that compared with the electrolytic manganese residue, the content of ammonia nitrogen and manganese treated with washed electrolytic manganese residue with alkaline conditioner were significantly decreased by 99.91%and 99.99%,respectively.Compared with the filling slurry of electrolytic manganese resi-due,the fluidity of washed electrolytic manganese residue with alkaline conditioner reached 203mm,which in-creased by about 1.19 times.Compared with the filling paste of electrolytic manganese residue, the compressive strength of washed electrolytic manganese residue with alkaline conditioner reached 3.92 MPa after curing for 28 days, which increased by about 1.99 times.Meanwhile, the leaching toxicity of ammonia nitrogen and manga-nese content was lower than the limit of Class Ⅲ standard stipulated in the'Groundwater Quality Standard'(GB/T 14848-2017).The unit treatment cost of electrolytic manganese residue in this study is 160.51 yuan/t,which can provide a reference for the reduction and treatment of bulk solid waste.
