Exploration of the"Student-Centered"Online English Teaching Model
The exploration of a"student-centered"online English teaching model aligns with the demand for enhancing the quality of higher education and has positive implications for the reform of college English teaching and the realization of students'self-worth.Starting from this perspective,the paper analyzes the current issues faced by the online English teaching model,including outdated guiding philosophies,lack of teaching skills among teachers,inadequate role transition for teachers,insufficient online supervision,and the failure to highlight the principal role of students in the teaching process.Based on these findings,measures are proposed to transform teaching thoughts,innovate teaching designs and methods,and construct a management and evaluation system,aiming to build a"student-centered"online English teaching model.
