Research on Approaches to Improving Quality of Diploma-Oriented Higher Continuing Education in New Era
Lifelong learning has been getting more important in the new era of digitalization and networking,and talents are expected of higher professional skills and knowledge bases.As an innovative teaching,diploma-oriented higher continuing education boasts such advantages as flexibility and convenience,and has become one of the key approaches to lifelong learning and accommodating people's learning needs.Thus it is imperative to improve this education's quality.This paper reviews the development of diploma-oriented higher continuing education,and analyzes its status quo.After that,the paper reveals some existing problems,and endeavors to dig out their causes.Finally,with a vision to further this education's development and improve its teaching quality,the paper proposes such strategies as reforming teaching methods,optimizing curriculum design,strengthening teacher team construction,perfecting management systems,enriching learning resources,and increasing learners'participation.
