Development and Trends of Research on Core Mathematical Literacy in China——A CiteSpace-Based Bibliometric Analysis
Featuring fundamental characteristics of mathematic studies,core mathematic literacy facilitates students'personal lifelong development and social progress.The present study employs the visualized analytic software CiteSpace to make a bibliometric analysis of 546 literature published on this topic in the past decade,and retrieved from CNKI.Findings reveal that(1)publication volume has been increasing annually.(2)Normal universities are the major contributors,while scholars have not cooperated much.(3)Current hotspots concentrate on key components,grade variants,and realizing approaches.(4)Edge-cutting areas cluster in unit teaching,curriculum criteria,and college-entrance-text-oriented mathematics.The study proposes the following strategies to promote future development:enhancing the construction of research communities,paying more attention to research methodologies,optimizing design-based research approaches,and expanding research areas of contents.
