Educational Metaverse Research Hotspots and Trend Analysis Based on CiteSpace
To clarify the hotspots and trends of educational metaverse research in China,this study uses literature from CSSCI and Peking University core journals related to the theme of educational metaverse retrieved from CNKI as samples.The CiteSpace knowledge map analysis software is used to analyze the sample data in terms of publication volume,research institutions,authors,research hotspots,and trends.The study shows that educational metaverse research has gradually become a focus of attention among domestic scholars,with universities being the main battlefield for research.The research hotspots are concentrated in four aspects:key technologies of the educational metaverse,application scenarios,theoretical discussions,and risk prevention.The research on the educational metaverse demonstrates a trend where the metaverse and education advance together,mutually empowering each other.In the future,it is necessary to continue breaking through key technologies and infrastructure difficulties,carry out teaching practice research at different levels,and pay attention to risk prevention and management.
