A Review of International Empirical Research on Digital Reading——Based on 16 Years of Article Research in 10 SSCI Journals on Educational Technology
Digital reading is a reading ecology in the face of a digital living environment.It is related to learners'social development and value choices,and requires relevant research results as support and guidance.This study uses bibliometric methods and content analysis methods to analyze the basic fields,research hot spots and trends of international empirical research on digital reading.The research found that:1)In terms of publications and the number of articles published,the representative publication is"Computers&Education",and the number of articles published shows a dynamic upward trend;2)In terms of core authors and their countries and regions,authors who have published 4 or more articles There are 12,and Taiwan,China,and the United States rank among the top three in terms of number of publications;3)In terms of research content,researchers mainly focus on learners'digital reading cognitive characteristics,digital reading behavioral performance,digital reading literacy and guidance strategies,digital Reading technology and media,etc.
