Case Study on the TPACK Development of Open University English Teachers——Based on the Live Streaming Teaching Scenario
With the rise of live streaming teaching, teachers face the challenge of effectively integrating technology with teaching content to improve teaching quality. This study adopts a case study approach, focusing on the TPACK development of open university English teachers in live streaming teaching, and analyzes the practical knowledge of four experienced teachers in live streaming teaching. It reveals that TPACK development is a dynamic process driven by multiple problem scenarios, influenced by a combination of teachers'personal learning, teaching practice, school support, and student feedback. The study finds that these teachers effectively integrate technology with teaching content through reflection and strategic restructuring, forming a teaching model adapted to the live streaming environment. This study provides strategic suggestions for open universities to enhance teachers'TPACK,including implementing targeted information technology training, promoting interdisciplinary cooperation, and establishing a student feedback mechanism to promote teacher professional development and teaching innovation. These findings not only provide guidance for educational practice but also point out directions for future research, especially on how new technologies can deepen TPACK development and improve educational quality.
