Impact Mechanism of College Students'Online Learning Motivation and Strategies on Online Learning Performance:Mediating Role of Self-Efficacy
This study polled college students and instrumented 887 valid questionnaires to systematically explore the impact mechanism of online learning motivation and strategies on their online learning performance, using structural equation modeling and the Bootstrap mediation test method.Findings reveal that online learning motivation directly and positively influences online learning performance but does not indirectly affect it through self-efficacy;learning strategies directly and positively influence online learning performance and also indirectly affect it through self-efficacy,with self-efficacy playing a complete mediating role;self-efficacy is identified as a more significant factor positively affecting online learning performance than online learning motivation and strategies. The study then advances some recommendations to enhance college students'self-efficacy in online learning, moderately increase their motivation for online learning, optimize their online learning strategies, and thereby improve their online learning performance.
