Analysis of Approaches to Constructing Community-Based Elderly Learning Teams——Taking Guangzhou as an Example
Community-based senior learning teams are the cornerstone in promoting a learning society.The article discusses the importance of community elderly learning teams in building a learning society,analyzing their role in meeting the learning needs of the elderly,promoting social participation,and social governance.This paper surveys the current situation in elderly learning groups in Guangzhou communities,and reveals such problems as organizational structure and management in need of optimization,uneven resource distribution,community's reach yet to expand,a lack of mechanisms for sustainable development,the digital divide and educational methodologies to be diversified,and an incomplete monitoring and evaluation mechanism,and so on.To address these issues,this paper borrows insights from practical experiences of case studies,and advances such proposals as strengthening organizational structures,balancing resource allocation,broadening community coverage,stimulating development momentum,enhancing digital literacy,and implementing continuous monitoring and evaluation to promote the construction and development of community-based elderly learning groups.
