Analysis of Volatile Constituents of Euonymus Bungeanus in Ningxia by GC-MS
The volatile constituents from the Euonymus bungeanus fruit and seeds planted in Ningxia analyzed by GC-MS were studied. Volatile compounds in Euonymus bungeanus fruit and seeds were investigated by hydrodistillation ( HD) coupled to Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry ( GC-MS ) , the relative content of each component was calculated by peak area normalization. A total of 46 compounds were identified from Euonymus bungeanus fruit and the major components were alcohols ( 23. 65%) , esters ( 21. 53%) , carboxylic acids ( 18. 40%) , heterocyclic compound (16. 62%). There were 57 compounds identified in Euonymus bungeanus seeds and the hydrocarbons (84. 99%) were the most. Volatile components in the fruit and seeds of Euonymus bungeanus were quite different, few compounds were common in both. The results of the studies can be referenced when the fruit of Euonymus bungeanus needed to be further studied.
