Evaluation of Uncertainty in Determination of Total Phosphorus in A Reservoir in Huangshi City
Total phosphorus in reservoirs is a key indicator for evaluating the water quality category of surface water. To some extent,it can reflect the degree of water pollution, and it is also a crucial parameter in calculating water eutrophication.Based on the surface water quality evaluation standard, the water quality of a certain reservoir in Huangshi City is evaluated as Class Ⅳ-Ⅴ.The main pollutant index is total phosphorus.According to historical data, the total phosphorus concentration shows a cyclical pattern of being high in the wet season and low in the dry season. In the wet season of some years, the water quality even deteriorates to worse than Class Ⅴ.The water quality of the reservoir was measured multiple times in a month, and the uncertainty was evaluated, aiming to obtain higher-quality monitoring data, better provide data support for reservoir supervision, and offer a theoretical basis for reservoir treatment.
