Innovative Practice of Membrane Separation Process Based on Molecular Sieve Membranes in Experimental Teaching of Chemical Engineering Principles
Based on the teaching objectives of Chemical Engineering Principles course,a teaching experiment was designed to apply molecular sieve membranes in the pervaporation process of ethanol-water solutions. This experiment aimed to help students consolidate and expand their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in membrane separation technology.Through this experimental teaching, students will master the performance characteristics of molecular sieve membranes, understand the methods for selecting and evaluating membrane materials, and gain a deeper understanding of the mass transfer mechanisms in the membrane separation process. The experiment encouraged students to solve real-world problems, fostered innovative thinking, and enhanceed their theoretical learning and research capabilities. This study not only provided a practical platform for students, but also offered valuable exploration and demonstration for the application of membrane separation technology in the chemical engineering field.
